Categories and Contents of Holiday Calendars Canada

Canadian Calendars holds a significant place in the daily lives of the people of Canada. The calendar may sound just a simple tool of our daily life but its significance can be realized by the fact that every single person looks at the calendar at least once during a day for various reasons.

The holidays in Canadian Calendars are highlighted with some color or shades on that particular date. In addition, each holiday is clearly marked with the name of the event written in small letters on the box containing the respective date.

Some Canadian Calendars prefer to classify the holidays into categories with the help of a unique color or pattern for each category. Generally, one would find three categories: Canadian and Common, Christian and Catholic, Misc and International.

The first category of Holiday Calendars Canada would include the events, which are particularly celebrated or recognized in Canada only like Family Day Canada that is celebrated on February 15 according to the Canadian Calendar. There are many more such events like National Flag of Canada Day and many more. The second category refers to the holidays related to the Christian and Catholic communities and not necessarily important for everyone.

Some of the examples of such events presented in Holiday Calendars Canada are Mardi Gras on Feb 9, Ash Wednesday on Feb 10 and many more. The third category is of the international events and holidays, which are recognized all over the world or belong to some other country like the one the famous Chinese New Year marked on Feb 8 in the Canadian Calendar. There are many more like World’s Kidney Day, World Women’s Day and many more.
